This blog started thanks to the first Erasmus+ EVS project for VulcanicaMente “Learn it, share it!” 2016-2018, and now now it will collects several volunteering experience for our volunteers in Lecce and abroad.
RISE TOGETHER
Rise Together is a long-term volunteering project inspired by the women’s empowerment movement to raise awareness about gender equality and the issues impacting the lives of European women. The project highlights how through collaboration and productive conversations, people of all genders can rise together to reap the rewards of a more equal and just society.
THE WORLD WE HAVE“The world we have” was a volunteering project about spreading environmental consciousness and awareness to fight climate change.
Volunteers supported VulcanicaMente in international and local activities and created campaigns and local initiatives to raise awareness about these topics. They believed that we are never too small to make the difference, and that now is the right moment to create more structured action to address climate change issues in order to develop environmental consciousness and awareness to save "the world we have". |
LOVE IN ACTION“Love in Action” was a volunteering project based on the concept of spreading love, kindness and care against hate speech, bullying, cyberbullying and racism.
Volunteers supported VulcanicaMente in international and local activities, while creating campaigns and local and international initiatives of their own, to raise awareness about these topics. |
LEARN IT, SHARE IT!"Learn it, share it!" was a 12 months EVS project funded by Erasmus+ programme in collaboration with VulcanicaMente (Italy), INVOLVED (Estonia) and SOS Gyermekfalu (Hungary).
In particular the project was based on the concept of sharing: space, time, cultures, opportunities and learning. It will be held in Lecce in Kiio lab coworking, run by VulcanicaMente in partnership with other local organisations. Find out more here. |
SPEAK IT, PLAY IT!"Speak it, play it!" was a volunteering project that aims to create learning opportunities for two volunteers in the local community using non-formal education to promote language learning, intercultural dialogue, creativity and sense of initiative.
It was held in Lecce and run by VulcanicaMente in partnership with Viaje a la Sostenibilidad (Spain) and 3rd Sector (Belarus). |
