Time really does fly. It felt like the day before yesterday when we were sitting in the office in Lecce planning our next activities with VulcanicaMente or enjoying the company of friends on Santa Chiara square. Now it has already been months, 3 and a half months! since we have been back in our hometowns. We made a really amateur video of our experience. Here are just some photos of the 10 000 and more that took up too much space on Tairi's laptop. We tried to make the point that EVS has been one of the best experiences in our lives. And though it might seem scary and difficult, like staying in a new culture and managing the budget, it is totally worth it and forces you to be more creative. We really developed cool survival skills. Zsofka Before finishing EVS I started to feel that the end has come and soon it is time to go back to Hungary. I was sad, but curious too. Seeing my family and friends after a year was amazing. But I had to realise that in my city nothing had changed, only me and my point of view. I had to find a job which was really difficult at first but now I am a happy bartender. I learned and improved a lot during my EVS. I became more confident and patient. I improved my english and I can say that parlo italiano anche. I met so many different people from all around the world and made really strong friendships. This EVS thought me that your happiness is not depending on money, it's about the company and you need to find and enjoy those little things too. Of course I can't live without some Italian habits. I drink only espresso, have siesta time and I am trying to cook italianish with lots of veggies. I am really thankful to VulcanicaMente for this amazing experience and Lecce will always be my second hometown.
